I think God's three greatest gifts to everyone are: free will, each other, and love. What we do with those gifts, we own.

Bless you and have a safe trip.Lana Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14832227211328679086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5667585281200430600.post-25666697259976787832011-10-16T20:05:17.948-07:002011-10-16T20:05:17.948-07:00I can happily say that throughout my life that I h...I can happily say that throughout my life that I have never heard anybody use "it is God's will" in any context other than after somebody had died. If they had used it as a flimsy excuse for their actions, or lack thereof, I would have found it quite annoying as this would indeed be a cop-out!

I truly believe that God gave us free will to use the talents he has given us to the best of our ability. As such, "I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose free will". Such a great song by Rush and so apropos!

Anyway, I hope you and Maggie have reached Dallas safely by the time of this writing! Personally, I think that it is worth driving over 1,000 miles to get to Dallas, but I am prejudiced as I live there.

Have a great visit with you mother and be safe!MCWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00649510471993609568noreply@blogger.com
